Synopsis
Come join an incongruous duo, Chris and Henrietta, at their first counselling session as they try to repair their strained relationship.
Henrietta starts off at arm’s length away from Chris, but can he manage to salvage their relationship through counselling?
Director’s note
In therapy is a raw and honest look into the what goes on behind closed doors in a regular long-term relationship, with a comedic twist. After all, comedy is the other side of tragedy.
Visually the series references the, now common, reality TV shows about relationship counselling.
Series 1 has 6 episodes. Each episode is approximately 5 minutes.
Roles we are looking for

Cast
• Chris (25-35 yrs)
Henrietta’s partner. Chris is the driving force for the relationship counselling. He’s never done this before, but he is desperate and will do anything to get back his ‘hand’ back in the relationship.
• Susan (45-55 yrs)
An experienced relationship counsellor. She is supportive, attentive, and full of gentle wisdom.
• Henrietta (45-55 yrs)
She has almost checked-out of their relationship. However, Henrietta is carrying a lot of trauma from her past and it’s uncertain whether she can break free or if she will come to realise that Chris has not been the problem.
